MLP Landscaping Crew Sign-up
This spring, a crew of volunteers from the neighborhood got together to pull all the dead landscaping remnants from the flower beds over at Mary Louise Phillips Elementary School. The flower beds were re-planted and we need your help to maintain them over the summer!

This initial effort is the beginning of great things for the school. We hope to fundraise for a new and improved irrigation system over the next year. For now, it will take a crew of dedicated neighbors to help improve our precious little school.

Volunteer Opportunities:
  1. *TOP PRIORITY* Watering flower beds (it takes ~20 minutes to water the beds and does require some muscle to wrap up the hose in its container)
  2. Weeding flower beds (this can be done at your leisure, but it needs to get done regularly so it doesn't become a problem)
  3. Hedge-trimming (the school does not have trimmers so you'll need to bring your own -- can be done at your leisure)
  4. Dead plant removal (there are deep-rooted dead plants throughout the landscape beds and we need them gone -- this is a job that requires muscle and will give us a blank canvas for fresh landscaping to be planted)

Thank you for your consideration!
